Feldkirchen-Westerham is a charming, original municipality with around 11,300 inhabitants in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim, gently nestled in the picturesque Alpine foothills between Lake Tegernsee and Lake Chiemsee. The Mangfalltal flora and fauna habitat area borders the municipality. The Mangfall winds its way through the landscape from Tegernsee; idyllic riparian forests, valley slopes, beech, hillside and ravine forests as well as lime tufa springs characterize the natural landscape.
