The exact amount of equity to be contributed depends on the financial and income situation of the potential buyer as well as the location and risk profile of the property.
As a rule, at least 30% of the purchase price is required as equity capital in order to be able tocovertheancillary acquisition costs. Lower equity ratios are possible depending on the income situation and other assets of the purchaser, but generally mean an interest surcharge.
