This listed property was built around 1910/11 as part of an imposing complex in an excellent location in Altbogenhausen. The design was the work of the then highly successful building firm Heilmann & Littmann, which played a key role in the development of the Gern villa colony, as well as stately townhouses and palaces in Bogenhausen and other upmarket areas of Munich. The Prinzregententheater, built some ten years earlier, was also designed by the architect Max Littmann.
