Inspiration at the 2025 Kick-Off
RIEDEL’s 2025 kick-off event focused on customer requirements in the luxury segment, brand identity, staff needs and an open culture of learning from mistakes.
Special guests included Torsten Müller-Ötvös, former CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and founder of TMÖ I CP Luxury Minds Consulting, and Peter Martin, founder and CEO of Martin et Karczinski, who, in conversation with Markus Riedel, provided insights into customer requirements and brand management in the luxury sector.
The topic of ‘customer-centricity’ or ‘Clients First’ particularly stuck with us. What sounds so self-evident is, in reality, an attitude that permeates the entire company. It’s about ‘attention to detail’, ‘surprise and delight’ and treating people with respect. An experience that exceeds expectations remains unforgettable.
Peter Martin, who had already helped us develop our corporate values and corporate identity, then inspired us with a further presentation. His message: an authentic identity can only emerge when content, form and attitude are aligned. This applies to the development of brands just as much as it does to people. What is important is a clear vision that we align ourselves with and stand up for.

We also openly addressed the question of what lessons we can draw from past mistakes in order to learn from them and grow. ‘Failing Forward’, as it were.
The presentation of the results of our staff survey by the RIEDEL Human Resources team, featuring Sabine Hanke and Nanna Köllen, gave us valuable insights into our team’s aspirations and provided us with important impetus for the further development of our corporate culture.
The most heartening finding from the survey: 97 % of staff are proud to be part of RIEDEL.
Many thanks to everyone who made this inspiring start to the year possible!
